Condolences to the Reid Family
All at Dungannon RFC are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Jackie Reid.
Jackie went to RSD from 1954 - 1961 and played in the 1959 Schools Cup as a fifth former.
He went on to continue his education at Stranmills for Physical Education. Jackie took up his first position at Dungannon Technical College. It was while Jackie was at the Tech he started to play for Dungannon during the 1960s.
Jackie met Zöe which lead to 3 years in Zambia, while he was in Zambia Victor Scarlett filled Jackie’s PE position at Dungannon Technical College.
When Jackie returned to N.I he went to Omagh Academy, during this time he coached at Dungannon (1980/81 - 1983/84). He also coached at Ulster level.
We send our heartfelt condolences to Zöe, Jane, Micheal, Victoria and the wider family circle.
