In a must win game for the U18s the boys truly stepped up and showed everyone what they can do.
It was a nervous first ten minutes, with Omagh retaining a lot of possession and attacking our 22 early on. The boys survived the initial attack and then we began to play.
A nice kick through by Patrick Conroy caught their fullback off guard in which there was a slip. Our two widest players capitalised on this and Harry Gray carried the ball over for the opening try.
Constant pressure throughout the first half seen us get rewarded with another score from Patrick Conroy just before half time; which took us in 12-0 up.
In the second half the flood gates opened, and we were running in tries with offloads and flair all across the pitch. Which took us up to the final score of 38-5
Second half tries by John Carroll, Timothy Clarke, Blake Redmond (2).
Man of the match was awarded to Patrick Conroy.
